What is a QCD?
A Qualified Charitable Contribution allows you to transfer any amount up to $108,000 in 2025 directly from your IRA to a qualified charity such as Whidbey’s Saratoga Orchestra.
The amount you donate will not be counted in your taxable income which may help you stay in a lower tax bracket.
For those age 73 or older, your QCD can also count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) - so you can satisfy your annual requirement and be a great support to live music in your community.
